Examples of Gina's results:

Civil rights lawsuit settlement: Gina settled a civil rights lawsuit for $75,000 on behalf of two African-American men who were wrongfully stopped by Des Moines Police.
Dismissed case: A Polk County judge dismissed a criminal charge against an African American man represented by Gina. The judge agreed with Gina that the man should never have been approached by police to begin with, and so the police had violated the man’s constitutional rights.
Not guilty verdict: A Polk County jury deliberated for only 15 minutes before finding Gina’s client Keilon Hill NOT GUILTY of harassment of a public official. Mr. Hill was canvassing for a political candidate in West Des Moines when a local resident reported him as a “suspicious person.” Mr. Hill repeatedly asked the responding officer if he had broken any laws and received no answer. The officer arrested Mr. Hill after Mr. Hill asked the officer to leave him alone and walked away. The jury agreed with Gina that asserting your right to be left alone is not a crime.
Murder conviction overturned: Gina represented a young woman who was convicted of killing her toddler and was serving a life sentence. Gina convinced the judge to overturn the 1st degree murder conviction and order a new trial for the client. The judge granted a new trial because Gina was able to establish that the client’s trial attorney made several serious errors at the client’s first trial.

The last lawyer I will ever call
Because if I am ever again in need of the services of an attorney I will be calling her and no one else. When you hire private counsel, you are not paying someone to simply talk to a judge, anyone can do that. What your really paying for his confidence, you’re paying for the ability to walk into a court room with your head held high knowing that the outcome is in the best hands possible. That is exactly what Gina delivers. She was able to reach an outcome in my case that didn’t ruin my family’s lives. The state wanted to send me to prison for a legal pistol I had in a locked bag for the crime of not ejecting the magazine. I am not from Iowa and do not have a local CWP, I also didn't realize the mag not being separated made it a crime. I was pulled over on my way to work for a traffic violation and the cop asked if he could verify the gun wasn't stolen. Not thinking there was anything wrong I agreed and was subsequently charged with concealing a firearm without a permit. The state wanted to send me to prison and permanently remove my right on fire arms, Gino was able to get my charge reduced and ultimately sealed I did six months of probation paid my court fees and that was it. Gina did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend her to anyone else who wants to face the judge with confidence.

Aggressive, reliable, and professional
Gina was highly recommended to me (by lawyer friends) as an aggressive and excellent criminal lawyer who has won some high-profile cases and isn't afraid of going to court. She was terrific in handling my case (drug charges). She was very good at answering my questions, making sure I was clear on the legal options/ process, and offering good legal advice on the basis of the evidence. Gina got me a better plea deal than what other lawyers I consulted with thought that they could get me (no conviction if I pass probation); she negotiated strongly on my behalf and kept me updated on progress of my case. This was done at a reasonable cost (lower cost than prices cited by other lawyers that I consulted with earlier). I highly recommend Gina to anyone with a criminal charge. She will advocate for you intelligently and aggressively!
