Paul Joseph Statler

I did not have a good experience with Mr. Statler as he simply did not do as he said and billed to do. He quit days before my trial and thus delayed my case by 8-9 months. He lied, bragged about his wealth and intelligence but applied little effort to helping me. He and the public defender I was assi...gned to failed to make basic arguments and left me with a pointless appeal. He had zero remorse for how he treated me and also breached his contract and attorney/client privilege as I later learned. Paul may help you. He seems competent but not focused. He didn't like me from day one and just wanted the money, in my opinion. All lawyers do, no different than everybody else I guess. He did withdraw from my case mere days before a hearing and another former clients said he did the same to them. I will admit I grew to not like him as I felt he spent more time shaming me, disparaging me, and arguing me than he did advocating for me. Again, maybe he is a nice guy and will help you. He just didn't like me from the start I guess. I grew difficult to work with as he repeatedly sided with the opposition in his opinions while questioning why I didn't do this or say that. It doesn't matter now, my life is over forever.
