I am not one to write reviews but I honestly couldn't NOT write a review of what was "life changing" representation from Jesse Williams. After being represented by a different attorney (that I felt wasn't fighting for my best interest or "the truth") someone recommended I speak to Jesse Williams. Fro...m the start I was in awe of how incredibly smart he is and his ability to be one hundred percent honest but calm my anxiety. I was facing a life sentence on felony charges and he was able to (tirelessly) fight for me to have it reduced to a misdemeanor with a small amount of fines (NO jail time). Jesse not only did this with a great deal of hard work but he said and did EVERYTHING an attorney should do for you. If you are facing any type of legal charges, CALL Jesse! Don't let anyone tell you that you should settle. If it doesn't feel right, CALL Jesse! Explain exactly what you are going through it may just be what changes your life, it definitely changed mine! I am not sure if I can quite explain with words how grateful I am for this man. He has helped me find a better direction in life. By successfully figuring out a way to have justice served in a truly fair manner. From the beginning to the end I personally expected some sort of incarceration. The charg...es I was originally charged with were indeed terrifying to say the least. I had called a list of attorneys that have a good reputation locally. When I spoke with Jesse, he was confident and honest about how he wanted to help me with my case. Which is important to me and definitely showed in the long run. All the way through he managed to set things in the right direction. Not to mention dealing with me being very anxious with my worries, and probably rather annoying at one point. I feel he went further than most would with legal representation. Basically, I was facing what seems like a lifetime in prison, and the results were absolutely no jail at all. Not only did he get the charges I did not commit dismissed, but he coached me through the process in the respect that I needed. This really just sums it up without much fine detail. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants a straight forward person to help them with getting the proper treatment throughout the court system. By being patient with one another and following through with each other, it was genuinely satisfying. I had a hunch that he was the right choice immediately while speaking to him over the phone, before I had officially hired him. I am sure glad I decided to choose him. Don't think that sentencing could have went more smoothly. Might be safe to say I trust Mr. Williams with my life. Priceless! Few more specific details... I was charged with two felonies, and three misdemeanors. The felonies were dismissed along with another charge. He handled the contact to victims/witnesses (serving subpoenas), prosecuting department, and judge very well. This all took 3 months. Was affordable. I was stressed out. Now I am carrying on with my life. It is such a relief to even be here able to share my experiences. Mr. Williams definitely knows what he is doing, and does a great job at it.

Atty. Williams was accessible, responded to calls and texts, and was precise in what details we should focus on and what issues we should leave alone. He had a team that assists with pre-hearing investigative work, so as a client, you feel like all avenues are being researched, and that he is well-v...ersed in your case. He was honest in expected outcomes and assisted our family in steps that we needed to take in advance of our court date. Brief, to the point, and accurate - as good of an experience as one could hope for despite a difficult situation.

Very knowledgeable and intelligent lawyer that seems to know the laws and system well. I what is charged with an owi and also with an open container in my vehicle . He was able to reduce my charges to only the open container in my vehicle . This was an unlikely and favorable outcome for this case.... I am very thankful for his help. I was given no points on my license, and left the courthouse with only fines and costs. He is also a very nice guy and is timely and helpful. Strongly recommend him.

I am so blessed to have had Jesse Williams for my defense attorney. In the fall of 2014 I got caught up in the mess of a lifetime over a simple misunderstanding with Michigan's very confusing medical marijuana law. And it happened in a very conservative county in the upper peninsula so the cards were... stacked against me from the very beginning. The prosecutor wanted me severely punished because I was a public school teacher that had a medical marijuana card and he was very difficult to deal with. The prosecutor constantly pushed back dates, and didn't bring evidence to court. He made all kinds of excuses to draw out the length of my defense. Jesse was incredible in the court room and he does a great job with questioning witnesses and talking to the judge. He sometimes suprised us with quick changes in direction of his questioning that led to very helpful answers. We fought for two years and we were about to go to trial before a reasonable plea bargain was offered. I was originally facing 5 felonies a max of 37 years (which was totally ridiculous) in prison, and my plea bargain boiled down to one felony that can be expunged, and 6 months probation. Jesse also convinced the judge to allow me to access cannabis for medicinal purposes while on probation which is a huge victory considering the chronic pain condition that I suffer from. In those two years worth of battle Jesse always did a great job of doing what was best for me. He loves to go to battle in trial, but said he thought trial wasn't what was best for me. I think most lawyers would have advised what was best for their pocket books in that case because going to trial would have been a nice sized pay check for him. But he wanted what was best for me and he honestly cared about getting me the best possible outcome. In a few years I will have a clean record and will be able to get back to teaching if I want. And most importantly, he saved me from sitting in prison for a crime I really didn't commit. I would recommend him to anyone who is in trouble because he was worth every penny and then some. My family and I will always be greatful for what he did for us.
