I have never been in a legal predicament but found myself in one this summer. Figuring only a fool defends himself in court I started searching for a lawyer with great reviews. Very knowledgeable and intelligent lawyer that seems to know the laws and system well. I what is charged with an owi and also with an open container in my vehicle . He was able to reduce my charges to only the open container in my vehicle . This was an unlikely and favorable outcome for this case.... I am very thankful for his help. I was given no points on my license, and left the courthouse with only fines and costs. He is also a very nice guy and is timely and helpful. Strongly recommend him.

I was charged with an OWI, high BAC, in Petoskey in November of 2014. I live downstate, and was referred to Jesse by a highly regarded lawyer in my area. With this being my second offense, and having a bond violation, I was possibly facing a short amount of jail time. Jesse was thorough in his exp...ectations, and prepared me for the worst case scenario. He set it up so that I could do my pretrial and sentencing in the same day, saving me an extra trip up north. Jesse ended up doing a plea for me, and I walked away with 6 months probation through mail, and 24 hours of community service. I couldn't have been happier with the results. I must also mention that Jesse had a sudden injury that was possibly going to prevent him from appearing at my court date, but he went above and beyond to make it there to represent me. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone in my situation. He is knowledgable, helpful and worth every penny!

just now New Between the fake strategy Jesse sold me to gain my trust, to never being on time to any of my court appearances and not even realizing the victim impact statement was submitted until the judge informed him that it was he is beyond the least professional attorney I have experienced. Go ...anywhere else other than Jesse Williams. He immoderately jumped on the prosecutors side telling me what is wrong with me and how “he could relate” all he does is work deals with the prosecutor. I accepted a plea deal once he showed me multiple times how incompetent he is. Stay away.
