The court system tried to charge me with two misdemeanors because of an accident I was in. I was not guilty, so Jesse and I were fully prepared to take my case to trial. Jesse did such a wonderful job that I never even made it to trial. The day that I was scheduled jury selection I instead walked out... of the court house with 3 points on my license and a small fine. No criminal charges on my record whatsoever. I would highly recommend Jesse to anyone. He is extremely understanding, kind, and very enthusiastic about his job. You can tell that Jesse takes pride in what he does and I am very greatful for the work that he has done for me!

I was charged with an OWI, high BAC, in Petoskey in November of 2014. I live downstate, and was referred to Jesse by a highly regarded lawyer in my area. With this being my second offense, and having a bond violation, I was possibly facing a short amount of jail time. Jesse was thorough in his exp...ectations, and prepared me for the worst case scenario. He set it up so that I could do my pretrial and sentencing in the same day, saving me an extra trip up north. Jesse ended up doing a plea for me, and I walked away with 6 months probation through mail, and 24 hours of community service. I couldn't have been happier with the results. I must also mention that Jesse had a sudden injury that was possibly going to prevent him from appearing at my court date, but he went above and beyond to make it there to represent me. On March 3, 2014 I was charged with Controlled Substance/Delivery-Manufacturing Marijuana. I was recommended Jesse through a "downstate" attorney firm to handle my case. My grandson got into some trouble at his middle school concerning pot. I called Jesse and he immediately put my mind at ease about what could happen. He had dealt with the same situation many times. He set up a time for us to meet, told me the cost and continued to reassure me that he could help. As ...it turned out the school handled the situation in a manner our family could accept without the help of a lawyer. I called Jesse and told him I wanted to pay him for his phone consultation. Going to court for anything is stressful, let alone finding the right attorney to get the job done. Not being from the area and passing through, I had been stopped and charged with marijuana.
