Jesse Latta Williams

I hired Jesse Williams after getting an OWI and a charge for use of a controlled substance. Jesse is reasonable, straight forward and very practiced at what he does. I feel I got the best possible outcome for my OWI and he was able to get a 7411 for my controlled substance charge...not only that but ...when I received a violation of probation and second offense OWI he successfully argued to keep the deferment of the controlled substance charge and make it so I had minimal jail time. He makes himself available to answer my questions and he’s passionate about defending his clients. I can honestly say I wouldn’t want any other attorney defending me.

Got pulled over in Traverse last year, ended up landing two charges: one for possession of marijuana and another for operating while intoxicated. Jesse was willing to help me out even with my budget for an attorney being considerably lower than normal. I contacted Jesse after being arrested for OWI in Gaylord. They did an excellent job at preparing me to testify, selecting the right jury, challenging the prosecution throughout the trial, setting the trial up for successful appeal incase I needed it, and making sure the truth came out. In the end, I was found not guilty due to the overall strategy that Jesse orchestrated that found a way to shine a light on a dishonest police officer while not smearing him and disenfranchising the jury. Over the course of nearly a year between my arrest and my trial, Jesse and team were there every step along the way.

Jesse did an amazing job. I am licensed medical professional and needed this matter resolved without a alcohol offense. Jesse pushed several matters with the court until we were able to settle with a reckless boating. I was told that he felt strong about pushing my case for dismissal altogether bu...t choose to settle due to the long process. I highly recommend Jesse to all. He was always available to answer my questions personally and kept me updated on my case at all times. Excellent choice if you find yourself in a difficult situation.
