Jesse Latta Williams

I would like to thank Jesse Williams for the outstanding job he did representing me in my medical marijuana case. I was initially charged with a felony which he got reduced to a misdemeanor. And at my sentencing where Mr. Williams presented his motion I was fined and virtually set free. The motion wa...s so well reasoned and clearly laid out that the judge felt it necessary to sentence me this way. Otherwise he would have had to set a precedent he was not ready to put his name on, allowing a patient to medicate with marijuana while on probation. I am not a lawyer, but I read the motion and I believe that the judge was convinced that taking away my medication would have been wrong on the six different counts cited, my favorite of which is that it is illogical for rehabilitative purposes to prohibit me from possessing and using marijuana during my probationary term because it would not serve to rehabilitate me in any manner. During the hearing, the judge complimented Mr. Williams on his very thorough motion. Mr. Williams had done extensive research on a case from Macomb County which the judge found to be useful and instructive to the case, especially on the way he related it to mine. Medical marijuana cases continue to plague our court system and Mr. Williams is there to help clients wade through the mess.

On March 3, 2014 I was charged with Controlled Substance/Delivery-Manufacturing Marijuana. I was recommended Jesse through a "downstate" attorney firm to handle my case. I had 2 court dates and Jesse was able to settle my case yesterday, April 22, 2014!! He was able to get my charges dropped to a "Health Code Violation" . I had to pay a fine and everything was settled. My wife and I are so happy. This is a Huge weight lifted off our shoulders! We TOTALLY recommend ANYBODY out there that has a criminal case especially dealing with marijuana to have Jesse handle your case. You will be very pleased. Best decision that I ever done in my life and so glad that we had the pleasure to know Jesse Williams.
