I grew up in Ypsilanti and Livonia and always wanted to be a lawyer. Working and volunteering since I was 14, I started my first business when I was in high school. As a new young lawyer, I began my career byI founding LEAP – Lawyers for Equal Access Project, Inc. to help people with moderate means who could not afford standard attorney rates. Since then, I served on many legal committees, associations, and boards, usually focusing on poverty and animal issues.
My career and passion focused on Animal Law and Poverty Law for several decades. My private practice focuses on animal welfare and dog law, in particular, although I handle a variety of cases in criminal, traffic, family, and probate law. If I can't help you, I can find someone who can!
My life has been varied and expansive, including my 3 daughters, who pursued their own passions in STEM areas, including a veterinarian, cybersecurity, and transplant interests. I have a multi-generational household, which includes my first grandchild, a small farm, and my beloved dogs. While the dogs in my photo no longer are with us, their genes are, including Caleb's son Zeke, who is a Service Dog for my daughter.

We have used Michelle Radloff twice both in 2014 and recently. Her abilities are second to none. Michelle's strategy is unfounded in the dog world. She is dependable and articulate with her work. With her guidance, we have been able to protect ourselves and our interests on the legal front.

The first time I spoke to Michelle I knew she would be a great fit for my case. She was extremely knowledgeable about animal law, and knew all the right things to do. Once hired, she went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, and get me on track with my case. We've been working together for a...

Both my sister and I have been extremely satisfied with our professional relationship with Michelle L. Radloff. She is extremely honest and trustworthy.
"Attorney Radloff regularly responds to animal owners with a wide variety of questions on animal law here on AAVO. She demonstrates a depth and breadth of knowledge in animal law in her responses that encompass both legal acumen and the practical realities of animal ownership that would be invaluable to any client in need of such services."
"I endorse this lawyer. Honest advice, practical answers on AVVO. She is a skilled and concerned advocate for her clients."
"If you want to know how good a lawyer is you can read some of her many well written and published answers to questions on Avvo.com relating to her field of practice. I have found that Ms. Radloff is willing to go the extra mile for her clients. She has been a strong voice for animal and human rights. When you do all that, you will see exactly why I gladly endorse Ms. Radloff. She knows the law, she explains it well for people who need help, and she cares about her clients. If you have a legal question and her office is anywhere near you, she is your answer. I recommend her to you to help you in your legal needs."
"I endorse this lawyer. I have had the pleasure of working with Michelle on several dog related cases. She is extremely professional and great to work with."
