A signifcant portion of my business, estate planning, and tax practice is performed for agricultural producers (farmers) and for agricultural cooperatives. I assist these clients with succession planning transactions, estate planning, mergers and acquisitions, and legal and governance compliance.

I place special emphasis on working with nonprofit and charitable organizations, and helping those clients address unique tax and legal issues.

I frequently advise and represent businesses and their owners in forming new businesses, buying and selling businesses, and in connection with contracts, governance, financing, tax, succession planning, and other matters that relate to the ownership,

I assist individuals in estate planning, which includes planning for their incapacity during life, and planning for the transfer of their assets on death. I draft charitable trusts and other complex trusts on behalf of both individuals and charitable insitutions.
