I had recently received an OUI with a high B.A.C. I was referred to Jerry by a co-worker, so I gave him a call. Jerry knows the laws and what will, and will not, work. At my first consultation Jerry laid out exactly what would happen and exactly what I needed to do, step by step. My case was pretty straight forward, 2nd offense and my guilt was never in question. It was a case of doing everything possible to m...inimize the effects on my life, and the time it would take to get things back to normal (e.i. getting license restored, etc.). If your guilty and think a lawyer is going to magically make the mess your in go away, you are dreaming. The laws are written to specifically keep that from happening. IF, and its a big if, you are honest, follow Jerry's advice, and do the work necessary, you will get through it as quickly as possible. Jerry is very experienced, knows almost every person you will deal with, (Judge's, counselors, hearing officers, etc.) and guides you step by step through the process. Drunk driving laws and the penalties for breaking them are tough, but no matter how unfair you may think they are, it's not going to change your situation. Mr. Jerry Lykins is a fantastic attorney. He saved me and possibly my career from a disaster. I am from another state and I came to MI for a client visit. After having few drinks that weekend, I accidently entered the ramp leading to the wrong side of an interstate in Grand Rapids and was immediately... pulled over by a cop.
