Brian Douglas Kremers

Associate Attorney Brian Kremers has joined the firm as of March 21, 2022. Prior to joining Willey & Chamberlain, Brian worked for almost two years as a public defender in Calhoun County. He represented hundreds of criminally charged persons in state district court ranging from arraignments to jury trials and everything in between.

He has significant experience with driving-related charges – including Operating While Intoxicated – in addition to violent, property, and theft crimes.

Brian graduated from Carleton College in 2016. He received his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago in 2019, where he earned a Certificate in Advocacy. While in law school, he excelled as a competitive mediation team member. He also received a Leadership and Engagement Award for his role as President of Loyola’s chapter of the Federalist Society.

He is a member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association, the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Brian takes great pride in bringing power to the accused during criminal processes. His goals are to tirelessly advocate for clients, ensure they understand each step of their case, and to fully explore every option available to them.

When he’s not at work, Brian loves to spend time with family, explore restaurants around West Michigan, and geek out about baseball.
