  • David Ryan Barberi

As a young attorney, I've often looked to fellow members in the legal community for advice and John has always been willing to help. More importantly, his advice has always been spot on. I've known John for a long time - prior to becoming an attorney - and I can honestly say that his legal ability and knowledge is top notch. I have always known him to be a good person and a great advocator for his clients. I have no reservations recommending John; clients who choose to hire him are in good hands.

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.

  1. Probation
    issued in MI, 2007

Probation means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The State monitors the lawyer's activities for a period of time in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

John’s comment: “I was placed on probation for personal conduct that occurred in 2005 and which did not involve my representation of clients or the practice of law. A complaint has never been filed with our licensing commission nor have I ever been disciplined for my conduct in the practice of law.”
