Extremely pleased and grateful

It was a pleasure meeting with attorney Amy Tripp. She is very easy to communicate with, she listens to what you have to say and gives you an honest answer. Attorney Amy Tripp takes her time to address our concerns and priorities and explains things so we could understand. She is very knowled...geable and answered all of our questions. I have alot of confidence and trust in her abilities. She is handling our estate planning and Trust, she is extremely familiar with ssi rules and regulations. The entire staff is tremendously helpful and nice. It's worth the price for a piece of mind knowing it will be done right. I would highly recommend her and her Law firm

Love Amy and her staff!

I can’t praise Amy and her staff enough. Amy helped me get my will in order after my husband died, and set up a trust for our autistic son. While in the trust process, Amy discovered that he was not receiving the services for which he was entitled. Dealing with the government agencies to get him a...ll set up can be a nightmare – which Amy’s social worker, Megan, took on. Megan had the knowledge, resources, and persistence to jump in and take care of business! Now he is all set, and I have a caring, knowledgeable team for support. Worth every single penny for that kind of peace of mind.

Tripp Provides Valuable Counsel & Advice to Trust

I am writing this review on behalf of the McAuliffe family of Jackson, Michigan. Amy Tripp was hired as our family attorney in 2012 and continues to represent the trusts interests. Chalgian & Tripp Law Offices, rate 5 stars in my opinion and a major “pat on the back” for a job very well done. My pa...rents thought highly of this firm and met with Amy in 2012 to update their 30 year old trust, complete their estate planning, and to prepare their wills. I agreed to be trustee and met with Amy and my parents in early April 2013. Documents were signed and good solid advice was shared and understood. Unexpectedly my mother passed away 3 weeks later much to our surprise. My father had developed Alzheimer’s and continued to decline in health. As such I had to fulfill the role of trustee and caregiver much earlier than anticipated. My mother had died too soon after signing the documents which created a legal quagmire full of twists and turns. I was left with old trusts that has not had the time to transfer to the new trust. Plus various bank accounts under different names. A family business that needed dissolution. A father that had to be moved to an adult living center. In short a nightmare. My MBA and business background never prepared me for this. There was No silver bullet as the “devil was in the details.” Without their guidance I would surely have failed “big time” as I attempted to find my footing. They provided sage legal advice to steer me in the right direction. We developed a short and long range plan together. Moreover, they acted like a family therapist and provided wise counseling on sticky family emotional matters. With their backing I created a support group consisting of an accountant, financial advisor, bank, various other professionals, and themselves as legal. I started on a 4 year journey with them. Due to their efforts I successfully cared for my father until his death in September 2015. Their actions freed up my time such that I was able to help my father complete the family autobiography one month before his death. After his death the Long range plan went into action. It took 2016 and 2017 to successfully consolidate 3 trusts into one. I sold properties, transferred funds between banks, learned how to prepare the proper financial documents as trustee, pay out distributions to beneficiaries, etc. My role with them had changed as they now were watching out for my interests as “Trustee”. Prior to this they acted as legal counsel for my father and counseled me how to act as power of attorney and caregiver to preserve my father’s dignity of life. It is now 2017 and I am at the end of a long legal journey. The firm of Chalgian & Tripp Law Offices, PLLC consisting of Amy Tripp, Rachel Zapczynski, and others acted as my saviors. I intend to continue to use them until the dissolution of this trust over the next 8 years. I highly recommend them to anyone in Michigan in need of estate planning, elder law, or trusts. Sincerely, Daniel N. M, Trustee of Annetta N. MTestamentary Trust
