About me

I have been with Steffel & Steffel, a small AV-rated law firm in Battle Creek, Michigan since 1995. Prior to returning to Michigan, I worked at two law firms in the Northern Virginia area.
My "marketing plan" always has been to provide the best possible legal representation for clients by doing what it takes to get the job done, charging clients for productive time at a reasonable rate, and keeping them informed of what is going on in their matter, as the decision how to proceed belongs to the client, not the lawyer. It is important to know what the client expects and hopes to achieve at the beginning of the relationship, let the client know if I can honestly help them get there, and the explain the different ways the journey could play out.

  • Jason C. Bomia

Mr. Bieberich is a skilled attorney whose pragmatic approach and keen understanding of the law make him a very effective advocate. I have worked along side him in matters in which we have shared similar interests and opposite of him in contentious cases. When opposing him, preparation is a priority because he researches all potential issues to support his detailed legal arguments. Mr. Bieberich is highly ethical. Equally so, he is reasonable, fair-minded and has a good sense of collegiality. He listens to reasonable requests from opposing counsel, taking into consideration prospective outcomes for the benefit of his clients. I also know Mr. Bieberich to be an active member of his community and a helpful participant in various charitable causes. I endorse Mr. Bieberich for all the foregoing reasons.
