I am a partner at Sinas Dramis Law Firm, headquartered in Lansing, Michigan. I am a personal injury trial attorney. In other words, I specialize in representing people who have been injured or harmed by the negligence or wrongdoing of another person, company, institution, or governmental entity. One of my main areas of expertise consists of representing clients in personal injury and wrongful death actions regarding crashes involving motor vehicles, semi-trucks, motorcycles or bicycles. Moreover, I also specialize in litigating against auto insurance companies that have wrongfully denied coverage or benefits to injured people. In addition to auto-related cases, I also handle a wide variety of other personal injury cases, including police misconduct/excessive force cases, sexual assault cases, premises liability cases, dog-bite cases, etc. I have litigated cases in numerous state and federal trial courts across Michigan and have handled cases at the Michigan Court of Appeals and the Michigan Supreme Court.

Unfortunately, with all the misinformation in the media and tacky legal advertising, I know that personal injury lawyers may get a bad rap. The truth, however, is that a personal injury trial lawyer, like me, has the honorable duty of advocating for those seriously injured or harmed by the wrongdoing of another person, company or government. I passionately embrace that duty every day I come to work. It is a privilege to represent my clients. As their advocate, I know I must effectively tell their story and fully pursue all rights available to them under the law. I owe it to my clients to use my skill, knowledge, and compassion to provide them the very best representation they so deserve.

I currently serve as an Adjunct Professor of the Michigan No-Fault Auto Insurance Law at the Michigan State University College of Law. I regularly lecture and write about various issues related to personal injury law and civil justice. I serve as an Executive Board Member of the Michigan Association for Justice, Executive Board Member of the Michigan Brain Injury Provider Council, and Executive Board Member and Secretary of the Ingham County Bar Association.

I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, where I double-majored in Economics and English Literature and minored in Modern Greek Language and Culture. I received my law degree from Wayne State University Law School.

An advocate simply put
In 2015 I experienced an awful car accident, lost my job, and to this day continue to suffer from chronic pain. Stephen Sinas from day 1 explained everything to me regarding the process, used terminology I needed in order to understand, and truly showed a desire to advocate for me. He focused on my lost wages and my pain/suffering. It was an arduous process over the years but his determination reassured me all the while. We were able to settle, I found a new job, and hope to close this chapter of my life very soon. I would recommend Stephen to anyone and everyone who experience a car/motorcycle/trucking accident. He truly does have your best interest at heart.

Not Your Average Lawyer
Stephen Sinas came as a recommendation by my family's case manager; highly recommended at that. We've had--unfortunately--unpleasant and horrible experiences with prior attorneys, and thus, were skeptical. However, since our case manager was fantastic, we took their advice and recommendation and sought out Stephen Sinas. Some skeptics may go by his young appearance, but that is simply not the case. Mr. Sinas is a real attorney. One that will, and does, fight for his clients and goes the extra mile. He's extremely thorough and does not only do the job as your legal counsel but doesn't make you jump through hoops. He knows the No-Fault Auto law in Michigan well and he definitely does battle against the big name insurance companies. You're not strung along, waiting for an answer or playing phone tag (while your bill is racking up) like other attorneys. There is no other legal counsel representative you could ask for. Simply put (and biased, by my fantastic experience) he is the best at what he does. He gets the job done and he helps the people. I highly recommend Mr. Sinas to anyone and everyone in Michigan that needs help.

Wonderful Lawyer & Staff
Steve was outstanding with our headache of a case. He fought passionately for our daughter's needs against AllState. Unfortunately, we'll need him again thanks to how the system works but we look forward to it, knowing he'll make sure she gets what she needs. The staff was amazing and treated us like family. They all truly care about you and your needs. Highly recommend Steve & his firm if you ever find yourself in need of an attorney.

We are very happy with our attorney Stephen Sinas
We met and hired Steve Sinas a few days after a fatal car crash changed our lives. From beginning to end, Steve was outstanding. He explained the process to us in the hospital, in our home and ultimately when I was able to go to his office. He not only represented us well, but cared about our concerns. He fought relentlessly for us with the insurance companies through to an acceptable outcome. We are now a year out since the crash, we could not have done this without Steve and his wonderful staff standing by our side. I encourage my friends to call Steve if ever forced into the world of auto no-fault.

Best lawyer in Lansing
Looking for a lawyer who has integrity, is honest and reputable? Well look no further. Steven Sinas has helped me fight my car insurance company who has held me hostage for a decade following a devastating car accident that left me with lifelong facial injuries and issues. He has continually fought for both my personal and medical benefits, and helped me to endure the endless nightmare that insurance companies put their accident victims through following an accident or claim. Steven's personal kindness and compassion have made this 10 year long nightmare seem less devastating, and I thank you Steven from the bottom of my heart. I would refer ANYONE to your practice, especially my friends and family. God Bless You once again, Steven. You are simply one of the best!

Very Professional
A friend referred us to the Sinus Dramis Firm. Steve Sinus was very professional and got us a fair result when our insurance company was not forthcoming. When you have had an extended stay in a rehabilitation facility after a severe car accident it is hard to deal with insurance when you are just trying to walk again. Steve was very supportive, kind and understanding with my situation.

Superb auto accident representation
Mr. Sinas's representation of my case has restored my faith in attorneys. He was supportive, encouraging, and honest in every interaction for from beginning to end! He was vey knowledgable on the latest law pertaining to my case. His professionalism and decorum were far above expectations! His presentation of me at trial was winning in a style that was believable honest, thorough and won with the jury. Everyone at his firm I had contact with was genuinely helpful and kind. I felt like I'd stepped back a hundred years to a kinder, gentler time in America. My life is forever touched and enriched and my belief in the goodness of humanity is strengthened by Mr. Sinas and his firm! If you need a straightforward, kind and dogged advocate Stephen Sinas is the attorney I'd recommend above all!

A Strong Advocate For Your No Fault Insurance Case
My wife and I first met Steve Sinas in September of 2008. I was involved in a car/motorcycle accident on my way to visit my wife who was in the hospital with cancer. I had multiple injuries as well as a Traumatic Brain Injury. We just weren’t able to deal with the bills, insurance agents and complex issues related to the accident by ourselves. One of my siblings contacted Steve because of our situations. The following day Steve was at our house with his paralegal listening to what was going on. From that day Steve was so helpful with contacts from insurance companies, doctors, hospitals, rehab and more. His concern was for both of us to work on healing hassle free and he would deal with the rest of the issues. Steve also made contact with a case manager and she began working on my rehab within a few days. Steve or someone from his office has kept in contact with us through the years to see how our progress has been going. Steve always makes sure our accident related bills are still being covered. He’s been straight forward with us and honest. He never sugar coats questions or answers but gives us the facts. Steve has directed us and guided us, yet he allows us to make our own decisions. He is a man of his word and we were so lucky to have a person like Steve enter our lives when he did. Both my wife and I would highly recommend Steve Sinas for any of the legal areas he specializes in. Steve is also a great resource if you need help with other legal issues. He knows the best people to contact with any legal situation

Review of Steve Sinas
I first was introduced to the Sinas Dramis law firm when my son had a horrible car accident with subsequent traumatic brain injury. I had tried (with great difficulty and unsuccessfully) to navigate the mess that would become my life trying to deal with the auto insurance company and my son's needs. I was introduced to Stephen Sinas when it became clear to my son's therapists that I needed help from someone who knew the law as it relates to auto no-fault. i have to admit, I was terrified going into this. I had never fought an insurance company for anything and had no idea what I was getting into. Right from the start, I was so impressed with Steve and his knowledge of the laws. He explained everything in great detail so I never felt like I was in it alone! He was in every deposition with me. He's patient, caring and very knowledgeable! i was most impressed with his ability to stay calm under tremendous pressure. He's definitely on the client's side and fights hard for you!! He ultimately won the case for my son. I would definitely use him again if the need arose and would most definitely recommend him to anyone who needed help with their auto no-fault issues!!
