Roberta Lynn Sacharski

One of the most important things you should look for in an attorney is someone who you can talk to – someone who will listen to YOU.  Not only do I have the education, skills, knowledge and experience to competently represent you under the law, I also have compassion for what you are going through.  I will work hard to ensure that you are fully informed and prepared for every aspect of your legal situation and I will zealously represent your interests at every stage.  While I am a big advocate of negotiation, I am not afraid to fight for you and your rights under the law.

I am a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Thomas M. Cooley Law School with a concentration in Litigation.  I am admitted to the State Bar of Michigan and am a member of the Ingham and Genesee County Bar Associations.  Additionally, I have a Bachelor and Masters of Arts from The University of Michigan.

I have been at Farhat & Story, P.C. in Lansing for four years, representing clients in a variety of matters, both civil and criminal.  I have also worked for the Washtenaw County Office of the Public Defender in the Felony Preliminary Examination Division.  I also had the opportunity to work as a Judicial Extern to the Hon. David W. McKeague at the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.  I have appreciation for and experience with both State and Federal law and am confident to practice both.

My practice focuses primarily in the areas of Criminal Defense and Family Law.  However, I also practice Employment Law including wrongful termination, discrimination, worker’s compensation, unemployment and retirement issues as well as Landlord Tenant Law including evictions.

My office is located in Lansing, Michigan but I practice in a variety of Counties including Shiawassee, Genesee, Livingston, Oakland, Washtenaw, Jackson, Eaton, Ionia, and Clinton Counties.
