Donald J. Baranski

Very Very disappointed. I recently relocated, with no income and hired Dr. Donald Baranski. What a waste of $3600. Dr. Baranski did absolutely nothing for me in my custody case. He did not file my response in time, showed up 30 mins late and after court has not returned my calls to appeal the court o...rder child support calculation. When talking to him he spends the whole time talking about other people’s case instead of addressing your own. Do Not Hire Him!! You are better off doing it yourself.

I had placed my story on legal match and , Mr. Baranski responded by saying I could have a free 30 minute consultation. I thought great. So Monday rolls around and I contacted his office to try and set up a time to talk about my situation. A young lady took my information and said he would call me... back. He din not! So Thursday afternoon, I emailed him and his response was about 7 words long, stating I needed to contact a attorney in North Carolina about my issue. So I politely inquired why and he said I entered into my online contract there. I Then I asked why do you say that, when I live in Michigan and the payment came from my Michigan credit union account. He failed to even give me the piece of mind of a decent explanation. He could read my story on legal match in which I was very thorough with. If I need a attorney from North Carolina , why even respond in the first place. If he was a good attorney or even practiced for 33 yrs like his profile says , then he would have not even responded to me in the first place. I have a feeling his good reveiws come from his friends or colleagues at his law firm.With that being said, I would approach this man with caution, some people may only have one shot at a litigation process. Don't make the mistake of hiring the wrong advocate for your situation.

I worked on the Dakota case under the direction of Don. He is an excellent and personable individual with an encyclopedic knowledge of the law. I would recommend him to anyone who needs assistance in his areas of expertise. Also, his book is a must read for small claims and I look forward to seeing h...is new edition when he finishes it.

If I could give him no stars I would.. He is aware that I was disabled also. Hired this I guess he's a lawyer to do my divorce.. under his advice I went and signed a quit claim on the house that me and my ex-wife we're buying together...and supposedly he put a no harm clause into my divorce decree.. ...which I found out later is useless... I have watch my credit score go from over 800 down to a little over 500 now..she is not refinance she has not done nothing..and by the way the foreclosure has not even hit yet.. but I am still attached to the house.. I have not a leg to stand on through the mortgage company all I can do is sit back and watch myself drown. He charged me almost 7 Grand for my divorce..and that really got nothing to show for it besides what I was entitled to in the first place I would have been better off hiring some bum off the street.. trust me he is not worth what he charges..and I still have the text where he informed me I need to go sign the quitclaim.. which is going to be handled real soon.. I just got the address of the attorney grievance council which I'll be addressing..I have spoke with several attorneys recently and they said that was very stupid for me to sign that until she refinanced.. job well done thank you Don for all your hard work.. he was well aware of the situation has done nothing to correct his mistake..

My family has consulted Doctor Baranski on property and probate issues, various financial issues and family matters. He is without a doubt a very knowledgeable attorney with impeccable integrity. Professional , but human & down to earth. He is concise and makes sure he knows and understands what yo...u are saying , and responds very clearly. I have referred Don to my friends and they have all been very happy with his service. As long as he's still around , he will be my attorney.
