My career has been shaped by a commitment to service. I spent five years in the United States Marine Corps, including a combat tour in Iraq. After returning home, I balanced working full time as a police officer while earning my law degree. During law school, I had the privilege of completing internships with the Michigan House of Representatives, the Governor’s Office, a state circuit court judge, and two judges on the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
I graduated cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law in 2019 and began my legal career at the Ingham County Prosecutor’s Office. While there, I handled a variety of cases, ranging from misdemeanors to complex criminal sexual conduct and high-dollar fraud cases. This work provided me with a practical understanding of how investigations are constructed, how charging decisions are made, and where weaknesses in cases can often be found.
In private practice, I focus on defending individuals facing serious criminal charges and representing law enforcement officers involved in critical incidents. My experience as both a prosecutor and police officer enables me to evaluate cases from different perspectives and identify effective strategies to challenge the government’s evidence.
I have been featured nationally on CNN, NBC, Fox & Friends, HLN, and The Real. In 2014, CNN highlighted me as one of its Extraordinary People for an act of compassion that received national attention.
I am admitted to practice in all Michigan courts as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan. My educational background includes degrees from Park University, Central Michigan University, and Michigan State University College of Law.
Outside of work, I am a husband and father who enjoys staying active in my community. I participate in youth sports, 4H, Odyssey of the Mind, and officiate high school and collegiate athletics.

Moving Violations
Mr. Hall was a huge help. Being a former police officer and a former prosecutor was evident in his knowledge of both traffic and criminal laws. Even when I was willing to accept an initial plea deal, he knew that there was so little evidence against me that we should counter the offer. I went from a ...
