Successful section 8 Affirmative Defense

After I was charged in Isabella Co. with 6 Felonies, I knew right away there was no way I was going to hire local council. I knew I had to go down state to get the best. After 2 calls and a consultation, the battle commenced. I can only describe it as a Rope-a-Dope type of court battle. We took... blow after blow in a one sided courtroom that leaned to the prosecution and law dogs during the preliminary exam that lasted the whole summer. It was clear at this point in the fight, that victory would come at a cost, if at all. So into the later rounds Michael and I fought, sticking to our game plan, keeping our gloves up so to endure the constant barrage of punches thrown by those sworn to protect and serve. But the enemy was so used to winning every fight that they failed to recognize our secret weapon laying in wait. So with snow now flying and the smell of a new year in front of us, we entered into the final round of this epic battle. We knew after the beating we took in the earlier rounds with denial after denial on 15 motions, that it was going to have to be a knock out blow for us to win. So into the testimony we fought, bruised but not beaten. We hit them hard with everything we had on all 3 prongs of a section 8. They tried to bring in support for the final round from the drug task force but what the prosecution failed to see was that, between rounds, we were injected with a steroid cocktail made up of 3.3 million voters who would ultimately prove to be the boost Michael and I needed to assert our affirmative defense and knock our opponent down, in a one and done trip to the canvas. Justice Served. So yeah, Michael Komorn is the greatest Attorney ever.

Michael to the Rescue

If you require legal representation with a medical marijuana case, you need Mr. Michael Komorn and his staff. My wife and I have nothing but superlative and pleasant things to say about Michael. Most Judges and Law Enforcement Agencies do not fully understand the Michigan Medical Marihuana Law becaus...e of the conflict with the Michigan Public Health Code for which Marijuana remains against Michigan Law. We have known professionally Mr. Michael Komorn, Attorney at Law for over 8 years. We were arrested and confiscated in Warren, Bloomfield, Sterling Heights and Rochester Hills for Manufacturing with intent to deliver and selling to a Police Officer, in spite of us being Licensed Patients and Caregivers. Initially Mr. Komorn was not allowed to use the term Michigan Medical Marihuana Law in a Michigan Court of law. Michael was charged with Contempt of Court many, many times facing jail with many Judges. However, Michael did not back down because of his brilliant knowledge and belief in his interpretation of the MMM Law. Our Case in Oakland County was dismissed by the Chief Judge after she threatened Michael with contempt and to dismiss our Section 8 Hearing. Michael then proceeded to set a legal precedent in Oakland County Court and our case was dismissed. If you want the best legal defense possible, hire Michael Komorn now. He is a great friend, confidant and he is real, no bull just fact. Great men like Michael, only come along every once in a great while. We need more leaders in our communities like Michael. If you value your life and your family, I wouldn’t trust anyone but Michael Komorn, Attorney at Law.

Hire Michael Komorn-an attorney whose got your back

Over the years- I have been in a unique position to see arrests, hear extensively about arrests and police encounters, and attend many court hearings concerning cannabis activity. When I found myself in the position of being charged for crimes concerning cannabis- I knew exactly who to call- atto...rney Michael Komorn. I thought that I was charged unfairly- far from home and that I would be trapped into admitting to a crime and suffering consequences for behavior that did not warrant such treatment. Komorn understood the predicament and told me very directly- "I got your back." I have witnessed attorney Komorn take on many kinds of cases and defend all kinds of people, Komorn takes more than an active interest. Attorney Michael Komorn understands the fear, the concerns, the uncertainty, and the stress of being charged or suspected of a crime and being faced with the immense burden of the criminal justice system. Komorn will speak the truth and will not "sugar coat" the situation but he truly cares and will offer solace to the accused as well as surrounding family and friends. When Michael got in front of the judge and interacted with the prosecutor in Roscommon County where my case was heard- it was obvious that they knew that they would not have an easy time pursuing the fines and costs or possible jail time they were seeking. What started out as a misdemeanor and possibly felony, went to two misdemeanors, which then went to one civil infraction with a small fine. I hired Michael Komorn to fight for my rights- not to hold my hand through the process of succumbing to a broken system- and that is exactly what he did. Komorn told he had my back- then he proved it.

Cases dismissed

I had two charges in Wayne county. I was facing 6 years in prison. Michael was very informative and reassuring throughout the whole process. I was really nervous at first but, Michael''s attitude and knowledge about the situation made me feel otherwise. He is an amazing lawyer that will fight for you... until the end. I would never recommend anyone else. He got both of my cases dismissed because of his knowledge of the situation. His argument was so good the prosecuting attorney didn't even argue it and both charges were dismissed. I can not thank him enough.

Amazing Lawyer!!! A+++ Case Dropped & Highly Recommended

I would like to thank Mr. Komorn for his wonderful service he provides for the people and amazing job he did on my possession of marijuana misdemeanor case. I am a medical marijuana caregiver who was unlawfully raided by lawnet in Livingston county was not arrested and 6 months later got a charge in ...the mail for 53rd district court. I immediately did my research and seen all the wonderful reviews for Mr. Komorn and the fight he constantly provides for the people and hired him right away. He got to work right away on my case and I only went to court twice second one being my motion to throw out my lab result for concentrates that was rediculously worded by the courts and after a small fight by them was granted and the case was dropped! I highly recommend Mr. Komorn to anyone dealing with a case in the state of Michigan and guarantee Mr. Komorn will fight for you and your rights and will not back down from the prosecutor pressure the courts try to apply until he wins! The state of Michigan is pulling some shady things in the fight against medical marijuana and Mr. Komorn will fight for you and the people!
