Caring, Ready, Polite, Interested and Good Attorney

Hello, I was referred to Mr. Ogletree. Called him regarding a situation. He was busy at the time; however, he made time for me. That’s what you call “ concerned and caring”. He took my call. In addition to he followed up and took my case. Mr. Ogletree was very polite. I no longer had to be worrie...d or anxious about my situation. Knowing that, I wasn’t about to face things alone, that someone would represent me in a short time. My situation was resolved before my actual court date and I thank him so much. That day, I made twenty calls before, I was able to reach someone that cared. I can’t thank him enough and I would use him again, if I needed too.

I disagree with the other reviewer

I think the lone negative review is someone who expects attorneys to work for free, based on what he says. They should have tried the State Bar Lawyer Referral Service where you can get 25 minutes of (possibly bad) advice for $25. Mr Ogletree, on the other hand, is knowledgeable and precise, I pe...rsonally saw that he worked tirelessly on a civil suit and isn't someone I would want to go up against on the other side. I also understand he is very fair to his clients about rates.

Either he cannot listen and do an appropriate assessment and evaluation of a situation, he does not care about justice, only $.

I just had a consultation with Mr. Ogletree. He was more interested in money and how he would get paid rather than in the person on the phone speaking with him for a consultation regarding a life-threatening, crisis situation. For a climbing "super lawyer" I had hopes that he truly had the qualificat...ions this situation, which requires legal expertise, critical thinking skills, a heart, and appropriate legal evaluation and assessment skills. His advice and recommendations were beyond ridiculous, given the scope of what was explained clearly and concisely to him. Having worked with all levels of law I would not recommend him in any capacity given his poor, borderline first-year law student advice. I question whether or not he truly does know the law and does qualify for this "super lawyer" and climbing superstar status he is alleged to have. I would not recommend him to my enemy. Beware. He does not care about your situation, he showed blatant in difference except to how he would get his money. Don't waste your time.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
