Stacy Ann Johnson

Stacy A. Johnson graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy, summa cum laude in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science. She gradutated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, cum laude in 2012 with a Juris Doctor. While in law school, Ms. Johnson worked as an extern for the Michigan Attorney General, Child and Youth Services, as well as the Veterans Law Clinic, assisting Veterans in obtaining VA Compensation benefits. In 2011, she began working as a law clerk for the Firm, handling employee relations issues, and as a Helpline Representative for JUSTUS®.

Since 2012, she has worked as an Attorney for THE KIENBAUM LAW GROUP, P.C. where she represents and counsels both employers and individuals with respect to labor and employee issues, including federal and state discrimination statutes, wage and hour issues, Family and Medical Leave issues, as well as tort and contract claims. She has worked on cases in both state and federal venues, and also carries out investigations into employee conduct.

Ms. Johnson is involved in the community through the various organizations she belongs to. She is a member of the Detroit-Metropolitan Bar Association, the Downriver Bar Association, and the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan. She also teaches an adjunct course for incoming freshman at the University of Detroit Mercy. Ms. Johnson remains involved in the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, International, as the Chapter Advisor for the collegiate chapter at the University of Detroit Mercy, which allows her to mentor the collegians as they prepare to enter the professional world.
