Mr. Rock’s practice focuses on business law, real estate law, and taxation. Mr. Rock represents management companies and owners of multi-unit properties across the Metro Detroit area. He also represents and advises a variety of businesses on a wide range of business transactions, including formation, joint-venture agreements, revenue sharing agreements, and acquisitions. Mr. Rock is currently a member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Business Law Section, Real Property Law Section, and Taxation Section. Mr. Rock is also a member of the American Bar Association’s Taxation Section.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Rock worked for one of the largest public accounting and business consulting firms in the state and a large Japanese investment bank.
Mr. Rock graduated cum laude from Wayne State University Law School where he was a Dean’s Scholar, recipient of the Gold Key Certificate, awarded for a grade point of 3.9 or higher, and the Norman I. Leemon Endowed Scholarship for excellence in real estate financing, land use, and real estate taxation. Mr. Rock graduated from Albion College, where he was awarded the Presidential Scholarship, double majoring in Economics & Management (concentrating on Finance and Accounting) and History. Mr. Rock is also a former member of the Albion College Board of Trustees.
