There are times that you will ask a friend for their advice, favor, or even a recommendation. Our family used a recommendation from a close friend and after consulting this attorney for assistance on a very serious matter. We ended up using this attorney to assist in our matter. To make a long story ...short; Attorney Polk places fear in the client by using fear tactics. Attorney Polk will send the client on a "WILD GOOSE CHASE" to get information and once you give the information to Attorney Polk. He will toss it to the side. In one situation, Attorney Polk called the client at an Inappropriate time and offered no assistance. When we confronted Attorney Polk about a situation he became loud and arrogant and claimed that he did the work, but the paperwork stated otherwise. We had an appointment with Attorney Polk and notified him when we will arrive at his office; however, when we arrived at his office-he was not there and was late by 45 minutes. Once he arrived, we noticed that his office is disheveled and case files not stored properly in his office. He did not receipt the transaction but promised that he will mail it to us. Finally, when we tried to get in contact with Attorney Polk, he will not return email or phone calls. At one time, Attorney Polk phone was ringing and it went into voice mail and when we called back, he had our number blocked. This has been a learning experience with this Attorney. We discussed this experience with our closest friend and let our friend know that this will not dull our relationship (friendship). Honestly, I would not recommend this attorney for any type of legal services. Attorney Polk talks a great game and talks against the opposition that he can win for you; however, it is just smoke in mirrors.
