Immigration Focus: Cross-Border U.S.-Canada Immigration Lawyer — TN Visas, Work Permits, I-192 Waivers, Canadian Temporary Resident Permit, Canadian Criminal Rehabilitation
Helping you navigate both sides of the border
Most immigration lawyers practice on one side of the U.S.-Canada border. I practice on both. I am licensed in the United States and in Canada, and I represent professionals and employers whose lives, careers, and businesses cross the border in either direction. When a question involves both jurisdictions, and most cross-border situations do, I can answer it without sending you to a second lawyer.
I focus on solving problems that other lawyers will not take. An old criminal record affecting your ability to travel for work; a visa denial that needs to be overcome; a Canadian professional who needs to start a U.S. job next month; an American discovering at the border that an old conviction is now blocking entry to Canada; a timeline that cannot slip because a job offer or business deadline depends on it. These are the situations my practice is built around.
I understand that immigration matters are rarely abstract. There is a job waiting, a business expanding, or a family decision that depends on the outcome. I work with that urgency in mind: applications prepared as soon as the file allows, communication that answers your questions when you ask them, and a practice structured to move cases forward rather than let them sit.
Services I handle:
U.S. immigration: TN visas, I-192 waivers (criminal admissibility), E-1 and E-2 treaty visas, L-1A and L-1B intra-company transfers, EB-1C multinational executive green cards, EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based green cards.
Canadian immigration: Temporary Resident Permits, Criminal Rehabilitation, Canadian citizenship by descent (Bill C-3), CUSMA work permits, Intra-Company Transfer work permits.
If you need a lawyer who understands both sides of the border and can resolve the problem standing between you and your next step, I would be glad to talk.
