Bryon K. Kelley

Bryon Kelley was a terrible lawyer for a simple child support/custody case my husband and I hired him for. Every time his office had to send paperwork to the court, it was riddled with errors. Their negligence in notifying the other party of the court dates caused delay after delay. They paid no a...ttention to detail. Even after being his client for over a year, he still managed to misspell my husband's (very simple) name in emails. He fear mongered us into settling with my husband's ex over custody related to their son, telling us if it went before a judge, it would cost thousands of more in legal fees and we'd risk the judge actually giving us less time with his son than what we already had. He never advocated for us against her lawyer or with the court, only wanted to ensure the case was settled as quickly and for as little work as possible. He does not look out for the best interest of his clients or their children. I would not recommend him for child custody cases.

I have been working with Bryon over the past few years on a custody case. He understands that there is nothing more important to me than my child, and has fought for us every step of the way. Bryon is very knowledgeable, has given excellent counsel and has helped me to feel at ease throughout the pro...cess by clearly explaining my options and making sure I am comfortable with each decision that has to be made.

I have worked with Bryon on my custody case. He explained everything thing in detail to me and made me feel much better about the whole situation. If I needed to talk to Bryon, he was always quick to return phone calls, email etc. Going through something so hard as custody, my emotions were all over... the place. All it took was for me to talk to Bryon and I was back on track. He always made me feel better after I talked to him. I highly recommend Bryon and his practice to anyone in need of a great, friendly, sincere, knowledgeable, attorney.

I have used Bryon Kelley and John Evanchek for over 5 years. They have been a great pair to have work on my divorce and my on going custody. Very trustworthy and have always had the best interest of my child at heart. That is probably one of the most overlooked things about a attorney. Most divorces ...are very heated(mine was) but no matter how angry I was over something my ex did, they would always bring me back to what was really important and that was my child. A lot of lawyers will fight for whatever you pay them to fight for. These two have a moral standard and prefer to deal with the relevant issues. Though I don't always win in court. Something I blame on my idiot Wayne County Judge. I don't ever blame Bryon or John. They have both helped me learn patience and a understanding that in the end the money, and the property are trivial in comparison with the time with my child. Thanks Bryon and John for always being there and always thinking of what is best for my child. When they say attorney and counselor, sometimes I needed the counseling more, to get me back on track and to not let a spiteful ex get the best of me. I am a much different man then I was 5 years ago and I owe much of what I have learned to Bryon and John.
