Originally, I hired another lawyer for my divorce, and he tried to cram a settlement offer from my ex-wife's attorney down my throat, however, I then decided to change lawyers and hired John. My ex-wife wanted over a thousand dollars of alimony and full custody of the kids, however, after a year... long battle, I ended up paying less than $500 a month in alimony, and I received joint custody with 50% parenting time of my kids.
