James R. Acho

My father played in the NFL from 1965-1972. Like most players of his era, dad suffered injuries from substandard equipment and inadequate medical care as a player and years later was ignored by the NFL when those injuries affected him later in life. Until I called Jim Acho. The best move I made was t...o call the man I refer to as "an angel dressed as the devil." He was able to get the NFL to respond when nobody else could. I see now why the retired players nominated him to run the NFL Players Association (the players made a bad mistake in not electing him!). Jim Acho is a bad man and if you are a former player, well, you already know! But if you are a person with ANY type of legal situation, my advice to you would be to call Jim...you won't regret making that call!

Jim recently represented our family on matters relating to an auto accident. He kept us aware of the status of his efforts and fought for us as if he or someone in his family was the injured party. He provided guidance through out, was responsive to our questions and concerns, thoroughly knew the leg...al and insurance issues and achieved a settlement that exceeded our expectations.

I just settled an employment matter yesterday and I am ecstatic and know of no other way to express my gratitude to Mr. Acho then to post a review on the Internet for people to see. I saw THREE lawyers before I saw Mr. Acho and all three said I had NO CASE. They disregarded me like I was an insignifi...cant nothing. I was already depressed over being wrongfully terminated and now on top of it lawyers are telling me I had no case. I has worked in a specialized field for more than 23 years and I knew finding another job making the same money I had been in the only field I have known since I graduated from college was very doubtful. He always took time to listen to me vent. He was part psychologist and part lawyer for me. He even sent my husband and I a dinner for two card out of the blue because he knew we needed a night out together. He always made me laugh when I was down too (have him do his "Scarface" impression for you) and is truly one of the kindest-hearted people I have ever met. My husband and I are going this morning to look at new cars because I have a very nice check on the way. It's not an enormous amount of money, but it is enough to let us buy a new car that we desperately need, take a family trip to Disney (which my kids are on cloud nine about!), pay some outstanding credit card debt and basically move forward with my life. Now I feel like I am vindicated and am worth something! That's worth more to me than the money. My life has literally gone from drab and dreary to one of peace and optimism because of this man. Jim is a very knowledgable lawyer with not just expert legal skills but very good people skills too. He genuinely cares about wrongs being righted. My case wasn't a high profile case like the majority of cases he handles but he treated my case with the same diligence and tenacity that you would exp...ect with a big "money maker" case. He listened to what I had to say and always returned any phone calls or emails right away. He treated me with great respect.
