I will not talk down or belittle Mr. MCduffie but what I will say is that he does not practice in your best interest. Lawyers are supposed to get to know their clients no matter the situation for the obvious reasons, you are paying them for their legal advice and services. Mcduffie barely remembered ...me or my name for that matter and often confused me with other clients. That alone made me feel some kind of way, only adding more doubt in my mind that he has the ability to represent me properly. I will say Mcduffie does not charge much to retain him which made him more attractive cost wise compared to others. To add insult to injury Mcduffie will try to over talk you and rush you off the phone and was often late to his one on one meetings. After our last conversation, I followed my gut and let Mcduffie go and hired better representation. My new lawyer did not promise me anything but she did put up one hell of a fight and I am very pleased with the results. Mcduffie did not want to fight, nor will he fight. Mcduffie would rather for you to take a plea and be done with it. For people that are considering hiring Mcduffie, i would advise thinking twice before you do. Do your research on the laws, lawyers, EVERYTHING. Because it is your life and livelihood that's on the line.

MCDUFFIE is Great at taking your money. If you're illiterate to the way the law works, my guess is you won't be represented properly here. McDuffie did NOT speak with my brother, his client until each court date which totals 2times. McDuffie spoke to our family rudely, disrespectful & without compass...ion. We wanted answers pertaining to his sentence & his possessions that the judge released. He made my mother feel belittled. Hung up on his clients wife. Disregarded phone calls & texts. Told several untruths & worst of all, did NOT fight. My brother said he NEVER received ANY plea deals, any advice on no contest plea & was advised to plea guilty. He has been incarcerated 30 days & had NO clear understanding to what his sentence is until his 27th day when he faced a parole Judge in Jackson MI whom explained his conviction sentence to him. After $4500, we find that his car is up for auction when all he had to do was have the Prosecutor sign the release paper that the judge honored the day of sentencing. 30days in & we're still getting excuse after excuse with a swift brush off & disconnect. We have filed grievances & have an attorney looking into this case. We are NOT stopping til these rongs have been corrected. Attorneys pay fees that are held in escrow to repay clients that have been misrepresented upon an awarding judgment. Although you may not retrieve every dime, you will receive a divided portion shared amongst all favorable judgments. Don't allow this treatment. If you've been wronged. State your claim & file a grievance immediately. No one deserves to hold your faith in their hands with poor practice. My name is Nychole.

However, in Mr. McDuffies absence he did appoint a...n assistant attorney to fill in and take over my case in court in his absence.
