Laurie's practical legal advice was very useful in addressing a very complex dispute. It was not about "what could happen" but focused on what was most likely and what was practical. Well worth the money.

Lori was asked by my attorney to come in and review our existing summary regarding my case. Upon reviewing the case, Lori wrote a appeal type summary that allowed my case to move forward, as the defendants attorney was looking to get the case thrown out. Lori's legal expertise convinced the court to...

Unarguably one of the best appellate attorneys in the country, probably the best in Michigan. My husband and I had a hell of a time finding a competent attorney who actually gave a damn, until he found Laurie. Many attorneys take your security deposit and you practically never hear from them again...

Ms Longo handled my case on appeal from circuit ct with the wholehearted commitment that I had been raised to believe was normal. Ms Longo demonstrated that and, imnsho, more. That she won enough on appeal to further my case is almost irrelevant compared to my opinion of her work. The legal professio...

"Laurie successfully appealed an extremely interesting and complicated family law matters wrongly decided by the trial court, which was initially handled by a different attorney. I was asked to represent the client on the remand. Although Laurie's appeal was done, she was so committed to this case and her client that she stayed in to both help where she could and continue to support our client. Laurie not only did an incredible job on the appeal, but she was an invaluable resource in preparing for and during the trial. Our client prevailed, but only because of Laurie's incredible skills and commitment. Because of Laurie, I looked pretty good."
"I endorse this lawyer. Laurie is a very experienced and highly competent appeals lawyer. She not only knows the nuances of the rules governing Michigan appeals, but also the practical application of those rules. Any litigant or lawyer who hires Laurie will be in good hands."
"I endorse this lawyer. Laurie's understanding of appellate practice is outstanding. She finds the issues and the law to fight for her clients."
"Laurie Longo is an exceptional appellate attorney. I have referred clients to her and I have consulted her on my own cases. In each instance, her advice has been spot on and has been conveyed with a clarity that only comes from experience. I heartily endorse Laurie!"
"I endorse this lawyer. I have known and worked with Laurie Longo for many years. She is an excellent appellate attorney. She spots issues and researches thoroughly. Her writing is clear and persuasive. She understands the rules, and appropriately applies them to the issues. She has good instincts, and the utmost integrity. I have recommended her to clients without reservation."
"Laurie is the go-to appellate lawyer in Washtenaw County. She has encyclopedic knowledge of appellate standards and practice. I know she maintains a sophisticated appellate case law "snippet" database because every time I call her with a question she has a snippet to quote me. Why would you want anyone else to handle your appeal?"
"Laurie is aggressive, highly experienced, ethical, reasonable, and a decent human being. She is a top-notch lawyer in her field. Hire her with confidence."
"I endorse this lawyer. She is highly competent, efficient and gets very good results. She is also very pleasant and easy to work with."
