Ruth Eileen Oliver

I am a litigation attorney that is currently focusing my practice on providing limited scope representation (a/k/a unbundled legal services) to clients by performing specific and limited legal tasks for clients (see The State Bar of Michigan Ethics Opinion RI-347 on unbundled legal services). 

I graduated law school cum laude with a litigation concentration; and, I am experienced in both criminal and civil litigation.  Civil litigation experience has focused on areas of law in business, contracts, commercial leases, construction, real estate; and torts.  My clients include both individuals and businesses; and, services provided have included: acting as lead counsel; appearing in litigation; preparing and filing court documents; legal research; all pre-trial activities; and, engaging dispute resolution early in the litigation, which has often lead to resolution of the conflict.  My felony criminal experience was gained at Office of the Wayne County Prosecutor; and, misdemeanor criminal defense experience was obtained as a solo law practitioner.  Criminal experience includes personal involvement at all stages of prosecution from arrest/warrant to final disposition through plea agreement, trial, or dismissal.
