Marc D. McDonald

I had never had to hire and lawyer before this and didn't know anyone who recommended a lawyer to me. So I went with my gut. I hired Marc McDonald to fight my case on a possession charge. He gave me some information over the phone and after that I was passed on to Jamie Schoenburg. She was the one wh...o was handling my case.. At least I think so. Nothing was being made very clear to me so throughout the process of my case I just contacted both of them. Everything was fine until my 1st court date came. I showed up and was told my attorney called a week earlier and was not going to be there till 11. Mind you, I was missing work already so if I had known this a week ago I could have planned accordingly. So, I left. I got a call about 20 minutes later from an attorney I had never spoken to asking me where I was. I rushed back and spoke to him briefly. I later asked what happened and was told by Jamie that it was the courthouses fault. OK, I can take that I suppose. Then I paid the rest of my balance and didn't hear anything from anyone for about a month until I contacted them a week before my court date. Then was told I would not be seeing any of the other 3 attorneys I had previously met BUT A 4TH ATTORNEY! I never even saw Marc McDonald or Jamie Schoenburg in person even though I asked to maybe 3 times. It was a blessing in disguise. The fourth attorney, Juan Gonzalez was a life saver! He is from a totally different firm. Figures. It may be just because they have "more important cases" to deal with, but maybe they shouldn't have taken my case then. I would never hire them again, but I do thank them for leading me to Mr.Gonzalez. He went in there and fought for my case. He calmed my nerves and was able to get my possession charge down to a disorderly persons charge. He is the only reason I'm even giving 3 stars.

Mr. McDonald has done work for me on several occasions. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a professional attorney who knows the law and gets results. Mr. McDonald was very prompt in answering my calls, questions, and emails. I felt very comfortable with he and his team as they he...lped me resolve several difficult situations. I know I wasn't the easiest client as I had many questions. All of them were answered and it made the legal process much less stressful. I would not hesitate in the future to hire Mr. McDonald again; but, I am hoping that I have put all my legal trouble behind me!

I am so grateful that I had Marc McDonald as my attorney. He was very prepared and had explained the court process to me so I felt comfortable when I walked into the courtroom. I have already referred him to friends and family and will continue to do so in the future. Thank you Marc for your hard ...work, extensive knowledge, compassion, and persistence.
