I thought all attorneys were no good, not anymore!

I had a few legal problems when I was a teenager, but unfortunately Mr. Haddad was a teenager too at the time, so he couldn't have defended me back then :p But I wish he could have! The attorney I had when I was a teen for an alcohol offense charged me an arm and a leg to represent me, was arro...gant, and I'm still not sure what "work" he actually did for me. Seemed like he just showed up to court and one minute before the hearing, began looking into the file that he hadn't opened since our last court date. All I could think was that I was facing jail and loss of work, college, drivers license, and livelihood and my attorney didn't bother to study the case prior to coming to court....... in other words, my attorney was lousy, I in fact thought all attorneys were. I ended up doing 3 months in jail and 2 years of probation for a minor offense. Earlier this year, which happened to be about 15 years later, I got another DUI and luckily I found Mr. Haddad through the recommendation of a friend of mine. At first, I was thinking "man, this guy is young, I wonder how experienced he is?" Then later that week I was watching the local news and saw Mr. Haddad on TV!!!!! I won't go into too much detail but he was representing a man who was being tried for a VERY serious child abuse matter, decades of prison type of seriousness, and Farris (Mr. Haddad) was on TV talking about the case! At that point I knew that he was a BIG LEAGUE ATTORNEY, and I retained Farris soon after. I'm glad that I did. Every step of the way, just about the best possible outcome of every hearing occurred. Farris would consult with me over the phone the day before the case, and was always upfront and honest about what he thought the outcome would be. He always delivered WAY more than what he promised. I think Farris takes a lot of pride in what he does, and thats what drives him. He sees every case he takes on as a challenge, almost a competition, a competition to get the best possible outcome for his client, otherwise he "loses." In my case, Farris was ready to fight it tooth and nail. He laid out 5 or 6 different defenses to the charge, with each one being credible, with the potential to set me free. I had spoken to other attorneys who claimed to be experts and they all said similar things like "challenge the field sobriety test," etc and all the other buzz words (no pun intended) so to speak that defense attorneys ramble on about. Farris was different, he spent the time to study my discovery evidence, and SPECIFICALLY mentioned where we had a good defense, not some buzz words that anyone could find out via Google, lol. The best part is that Farris was affordable (relative to other attorneys). I can't stand not getting value for something that costs thousands, and Farris gave me more than value. He gave me the best possible outcome. He dealt with me crying and moaning along the way too, which makes him part-time psychologist too I guess. I recommend Farris to anyone that has a realistic idea of what can and can't be done based on the evidence or lack there of. Without any evidence, not even God can win a case, but Farris took what he had and made the best use of it. So after more than 15 years, I can honestly say that like any other profession there are good and bad, and Farris is one of the best.
