Biography
Amy M. Ruby is the owner and principal of Ruby Legal Solutions, PLLC, established in February 2020. Her main focus is on family law matters including divorce, custody, and parenting time issues. She also spends a good portion of her time managing cases in the probate court including guardianships, conservatorships, decedent's estates, and trust litigation.
Prior to starting her own firm in February 2020, Ms. Ruby was with the firm of Michael W. Reeds (and the Honorable Travis M. Reeds before he took the bench as a Judge at the 52-1 District Court). She was an Associate Attorney there continuously since 2010.
Ms. Ruby graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2008, and received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Adrian College in 2003.
In 2011, Ms. Ruby was voted as one of Crain’s Twenty in their 20s by Crain’s Business Detroit. She was also featured in an article in Motion, the magazine for the Detroit Legal News.
Amy M. Ruby completed the Institute of Continuing Legal Education's Family Law Certificate Program and received a certificate in 2018.

Divorce Case.
I hired Amy to help me finish my divorce when it became so overwhelming doing it all by myself, im just so glad I was able to make ends meet and hire Amy to help me she made everything so much easier & I am very thankful for everything she did for me! Shes such an awesome lawyer.

Terrible attorney
Amy did not have the knowledge or experience to handel my case. She took my money and I’m still having to clean up her unprofessional mess.

Would absolute hire again
Amy had my back 100% from the start. Thanks to her, my divorce was finalized without having to pay out anything that my ex husband was asking for, with no headache whatsoever. Super friendly but always professional, I would and have recommended her for anyone in need of a divorce attorney.

To much for what I had done
For what I had to do myself with my case, the cost way more then anticipated. For what little work it seemed she had to do.
