“This action taken against me was very unfortunate. My record was untarnished for the first 22 years of my career (i.e. 1996 - 2018). Then in taking on a big Police Misconduct Case in Federal Court, very late in the case and just prior to trial, opposing counsel decided to file a grievance against me for a matter that the court had handled. When asked on the record why, they stated that the MI State Bar Discipline Board advised them that if they did not, then they would be subject to discipline.”
