I got to know Jonathon personally a little bit through a situation a year before my arrest. He was the first attorney I called after I was recently arrested and charged with 3 misdemeanors. I was scared to death thinking my future was ruined while Jonathon told me confidently that he would take care of it. I blew up his phone with questions while getting second opinions from other attorneys, but ultimately decided to stick with him. I ended up with 2 of the charges being dropped, probation with report by mail, a clean record, and granted to live in Canada during probation. If you are ever in legal trouble Jonathon is the guy for you! He is always available to talk and will do whatever it takes to defend you. He is extremely well prepared and well spoken. 10/10 recommend for anyone!! great guy!!

He took my wife case, which was a serious charge. He lied since day one, so that he will continue to get payments. He would never answer calls. Case went on for 8 months, he seen her one time, which was the first time he met her and stay for 5 minutes and left. Therefore he doesn't know anything about her or her life story. He would forget court dates, he was always about 45 minutes late to court. He also lied to her and her family about the time she was facing, which end up being several years more, because of his lies. He was paid thousands of dollars and did nothing but lie. He's a thief, he's crooked, the worst lawyer ever. Had to fire him at the last minute. Never hire this man.

Hired Jon for a traffic case after my first lawyer turned out to be a total half-wit. I had 3 tickets bearing 4 infractions with 1 being a misdemeanor. He managed to get 1 dismissed and the others talked down to fines. No points no records. I would definetly hire him again the next time I am facing another "capital murder" charge ;) Thanks Jon.

I had a lot of questions to ask, and Mr. Jones was able to answer all of them. He was extremely understanding of my situation, and was so helpful to me in court, and outside of court. He came to court prepared, and with his confidence and reassurance, he made me feel like I finally had someone on my side. Not only did he get me the best possible outcome in my case, he also gave me the tools to help me move past this whole ordeal once it was all over with. I am extremely thankful for Mr. Jones, and what he did for me.

Awful attorney! I hired him for a case with university police and he was great and very charismatic until I paid him... He took my money, didn't go over even a slight detail of the case with me, ended up getting a bond and warrant out for my arrest due to his negligence, and passed my case off to the public defender in the courtroom. That's right, he didn't even stay for the hearing.
Long story: I contacted Jonathan by phone and explained my situation. He seemed confident in winning and gave me his price of $1400 so I told him I'd think about. He texted me two days later and I told him it was too high and I respectfully declined. He was very persistent and offered at $1200 if I came in that day (should've realized he was desperate and greedy). I didn't respond so he kept texting/calling and I eventually decided to hire him the next day. I came into his office and he was very talkative, but barely let me get a word in. He was making comments, trying to relate to me. I realize now that he was playing me, just trying to get my credit card info. I paid and gave him my ticket. He said he'd take care of everything, likely get the case thrown out or just pay a minimal fee, and I probably wouldn't need to show up in court. Before leaving I asked if I'm just supposed to wait until I hear from him or if there was anything else I needed to do. He said to contact him as soon as I get anything in the mail.
Well four weeks later I got a notice in the mail that there was both a bench warrant out for me as well as a bond because I missed my court date. I called Jonathan and he didn't even remember my case. He couldn't find my name in his files! Finally he figured out who I was and said he take care of it. Obviously I wasn't confident in him and ended up calling the court myself. The court put me on hold for three hours before I got through to someone, only to be told that there was still a warrant. Jonathan claims he asked for a new court date, paid the bond, and had the warrant removed. This was when he stopped responding to phone calls altogether - only texts here on out. I called the courthouse once a week for the next month just to check on the status and see if there was a court date yet. This took several hours each day, which should've been avoided by hiring an attorney who could just stop in to fix things while he was at the court every day.
Three months later I finally got a preliminary court date for a month away. Jonathan didn't go over anything with me and just says to show up. I ask what time and he said get there an hour early. I got there an hour before my hearing and he got there 45 minutes after the scheduled hearing. I was sitting in the court house thinking he's not going to show and even the bailiff asks me to call my attorney using the court house phone (no cell phones allowed). Of course, no response from Jonathan because he only responds with texts. He finally showed up and literally spent just over 5 minutes talking to the clerk and gave me the date of my hearing and left.
My hearing ended up being four months later and I tried to ask him a couple weeks before the hearing if we could meet to go over my case. He completely ignored me until the day before the hearing when I asked what time he'd be there, just to confirm he would actually show up. He told me he'd be there 30 minute before the hearing and to be there early as well. He showed up 15 minutes after the scheduled hearing and asked if I saw the plaintiff anywhere. I said no and he and went to talk to the public defender, pointed at me, then said he was going to the bathroom and the public defender would take over. I stepped out of the court room and saw Jonathan leaving the bathroom and taking the elevators out of the courthouse. I immediately called him and when he didn't answer I realized I would never hear from him again.
Looking back, I believe Jonathan knew the university police wouldn't show up to court. He knew everyone in the cour

I have known Jonathan for 6 years. In those years he has helped me with two OWI charges. From the beginning Jonathan was up front, trust worthy, kind, and professional through the entire court process. He kept me in the loop with everything and explained things in detail to help me better understand the legal system. Whenever I got nervous or anxious, Jonathan was a call/text away to reassure me that he had my back and that he was here for me. That he had this. Just seeing him walk into the court house put me at ease knowing that he would do everything in his power to help me. He responded to every phone call and text in a timely manner. Whether it was early in the morning, late at night, or on a weekend, he always responded. He is a natural at putting people at easy during some of the most difficult and stressful times. He is confident in his ability to represent people to the highest extent and has the education and experience to show it. Jonathan represented me, for who I am, not the mistakes I’ve made. Jonathan Jones is the only lawyer I have ever had and the only one I will recommend. I have the utmost respect for Jonathan and his commitment and diligence to helping others. I am confident that Jonathan Jones can help you with any legal problem you may be facing as he tremendously helped me.

I saw this attorney in a courtroom with a client who was on the ropes and had been down for the count at a hearing, When Atty. Jones and the client walked out the courtroom the client received a split decision. Please excuse the metaphor. But I followed Atty. Jones out of the courtroom. We talked and my wife and I hired him to defend our son; who was facing two old warrants. My son's hearing day, he did it again. Our son ended up with Probation. This is the kind of attorney you want in your corner in a fight you have to win.

Recently, I hired Jonathan Jones to represent my son for two outstanding warrants from five years ago. One warrant was dismissed, but on the other warrant my son was facing 365 days in jail for the charge. The judge seemed very determined to give him the jail sentence. Due to Jonathan Jones persistent defense, the judge sentenced my son to eighteen months probation, community service, and 52 weeks of anger management classes. We are most appreciative of Jonathan's representation on my son's behalf. If you are facing difficult legal issues, I would definitely recommend Jonathan Jones to represent you in court.
