Marie Garian

Ms. Garian prepared me a will, power or attorney, last will and testament. I also seek her assistance when I have a traffic ticket. I do my very best to avoid paying extra for the insurance co. In all my dealings with Ms. Garian and her staff , I found her genuine welcoming, and an understandin...g person. When I talk to her I feel I am talking to a friend. Her rates are more than reasonable.

Entire office is out of shape and disorganized and messy. Everything from the office is from the 90’s or before, you can’t even pay with a credit card. Files are all over the place and nothing is organized, Marie is constantly taking 15-20 minutes just to find client files in the mess she calls an “o...ffice” on top of that, she does not give the necessary time and care to her clients as needed. If she doesn’t remember booking something, she is not prepared for it. She cannot use a keyboard, and has nothing digitally filed or protected. This place needs a serious revamp and Marie needs to learn how to organize herself.

Marie is a genuine person who really knows the law. She has represented my family for years on various legal matters (divorce, estate planning, etc.) She is very much willing to work with the opposing party and does all she can to keep costs down and your case out of the courtroom. If you are in ...need of lawyer who will work peacefully towards resolutions for you, chose her. However, if you are in need of an aggressive "bulldog" to represent you, look elsewhere - that is not her style.

Marie wrote up a will and irrevocable trust for my father. When his bank recommended that I be named as a fiduciary of the trust and give me power of attorney over the new accounts that would be set up, my father called Marie's office to tell Marie and have the necessary changes made. The office staf...f tried to talk him out of it and told him to go back to the bank and insist that their legal department "go over it". My elderly father was very upset. I advised my father to call Marie's office again and insist that the changes requested by the bank be made. He spoke to a different person this morning and was able to make an appointment. Having changes made to make it easier on the bank and my father shouldn't be this difficult.
