Matthew Tuck is the CEO and Managing Attorney for The Appellate Law Firm. Matthew earned an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, his law degree from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law, and his BA in history and political science from Albion College.
After law school, Matthew spent 17 years as a litigator in personal injury and commercial litigation cases, as an appellate attorney, and law firm IT director. Then in 2008, he pivoted careers away from traditional legal practice and into legal technology. He worked, first, as Litigation Support Manager for Honigman, Miller Schwartz and Cohn, an Am Law 200 firm in Detroit where he managed eDiscovery and large litigation matters. After Honigman, he as fractional CEO, CFO, and COO for law firms and startups. A life-long “techy” and entrepreneur, Matthew brings a wealth of legal, business, financial and technology experience to the firm.
