Terri L. Giampetroni graduated in 1979 from Henry Ford II High School in Sterling Heights, Michigan. She attended Kalamazoo College, where she earned her B.A. in Economics in 1983. She received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the Detroit College of Law in 1987. While in law school, Ms. Giampetroni was an editor on the Detroit College of Law Review, was on the Moot Court team and served as an intern with the Honorable Avern Cohn, of the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan
Ms. Giampetroni was a founding member and served on the Board of the Directors of the National Association of Career Women – Macomb Chapter. She served on the Board of Directors of the Central Macomb County Chamber of Commerce from 1994 – 2000. She was chairperson in 1999. Ms. Giampetroni currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Baker College – Clinton Township and the Board of Directors for the Sterling Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce.
In 2003, Ms. Giampetroni started her own law firm, Legal Strategies. She concentrates her practice in the area of estate planning, probate and trust administration, general real estate and corporate law. The firm prides itself on anticipating problems before they arise. Our core objective is to provide superb legal solutions in a cost effective manner.
Ms. Giampetroni has been married to Michael since 1992. When she is not working, Ms. Giampetroni loves to be on her bicycle. In 2012, she made her fourth bike ride across the state of Michigan with her nephews, ages 16 and 14. In 2013, they will spend a bike biking in southern Indiana. In 2008, she biked along the Amalfi Coast in Italy with 30 other Americans. In 2009, she completed a “century” (100 mile) ride.
