I can go on and on about Kenneth Vernier. Just when I thought my life was over and I was going to do life in prison, the pandemic started. My court-appointed lawyer dropped my case for medical reasons and I was appointed to Ken. I wasn't offered any plea agreements up until I was finally dressed for ...trial. The deal wasn't good enough. They even offered time served. We went and had a 3-day trial. The verdict came back so fast, I thought I was for sure going to prison. That wasn't going to be an option with Ken. He is very strategic and the jury was convinced. I was facing felony charges. All charges were dropped and I was given a misdemeanor with time served. I trusted Ken with my life. That was just the beginning. I was then transferred back to another jail where I was facing more life charges. Ken reached out and we reached an agreement. He came in to represent me. It was overall a 4-year fight he endured to make sure I could come back home. This man not only cares about his clients but he makes it personal and he fights for you. He argues he objects, he will set things up in your favor to the best of his ability. I couldn't let Ken off the hook that easy though. Once I was home after being incarcerated for 4 years. I violated my probation with a d.u.i in a county where for the first time Ken said, "I don't know if we can dodge this one. You might have to do some jail time." When my sentencing day came, Ken did it again. He represented me wholeheartedly with pure honesty and made sure to state things very clearly. It was then that I knew, I could always count on Kenneth Vernier. Brilliant Lawyer and an even better person. I highly recommend him as an attorney.

Mr. Vernier did an excellent job with my case. I was facing OWI 2nd offense and was getting nowhere with my previous attorney. Turned my case to Mr. Vernier and explained my situation. I HIGHLY recommend Kenneth Vernier if you want an attorney with experience whose “by the book” and will FIGHT for you! This is an attorney who doesn’t need to pay for fake five star ratings/reviews, nor pay into the system to be recognized/advertised as a so-called “super lawyer” or any other bogus ...nomination, like many other lawyers do just to bump up their profile to bring in clients. He again laid out the possible outcomes, as well as the options and all the steps that we could take to further conquer this. Ken safeguarded me by filing an appeal to a higher court (Circuit Court). The District Court was informed that this appeal was filed and waiting to be heard; however, the District Court Judge disregarded a “move to stay” and proceeded with a hearing. Being the experienced trial and appellate attorney that Ken is, he was prepared; and with confidence cross-examined those who took the stand, including myself. He blew my mind with how proficient he was. Ken was so organized and excreted such professionalism as he glided from question to question directed towards the opposing party on the stand. He made pulling teeth look like picking flowers. By the end, he put a nail in the coffin with further evidence that he was able to provide to the court. This was truly the fight for my life and Ken treated my case as if it were his own life on the line. An outcome like this is extremely rare in Oakland County. We long for justice; however, what we usually receive is the law. I can honestly say that I 100% received JUSTICE with Kenneth Vernier!
