Beverly provided support and representation for my unemployment appeal hearing. My case was one of voluntary separation, in which an employee bears the burden of proof to show that the leave was not due to their own volition. Beverly did an excellent job of assisting me in highlighting the poignant... points of the separation, which we reviewed during a prepatory briefing. During this briefing, Beverly took time to ensure I was clear and concise with my information being provided to the administrative law judge and ensured I was ready for the appeal hearing. She was very patient with and knowledgeable in answering questions I had. She also shared with me what to expect during the appeal hearing. Beverly attended and served as counsel during the actual appeal and ensured that the judge heard pertinent case information in order to make an informed decision. As a result of the hearing, the original denial of the UIA was reversed and I know that I would not have been as successful at the hearing had it not been for Beverly’s guidance and support. Beverly was quick to respond to emails and phone calls and was an overall pleasure to work with. If you are unemployed and looking for an advocate to represent you at your hearing please cross this woman off your list. Seriously stay away from her you will regret choosing her. She is very unprofessional and not helpful at all, I lost my case because she wasn't prepared, in the middle of my hea...ring I wanted to stop stand up and say "please judge I want to fire my advocate, please let me represent myself!". I would have been better off going on my own to the hearing at least then I would've had a chance at winning. I am not a person to bad mouth someone else and I give credit where credit is due but I feel so strongly about my overall experience I had to warn others. There are some good reviews on here from other clients but those must be the clients that actually paid her out of pocket because the phrase "you get what you pay for" is so right when it comes to this advocate, I paid 0 dollars for 0 help. Even if I would have won I would still come on here and try to persuade others to choose another advocate if they really want someone helpful and professional.
