Biography
Rick Delonis has represented small to large sized businesses in litigation matters in state and federal trial courts, appellate courts and arbitration. In addition to his litigation experience, Mr. Delonis has counseled clients in entity formation and organization, joint ventures, management, operations, commercial transactions, dispute resolution and dissolution. He has served as general counsel to a number of businesses in metro Detroit.
As an entrepreneur, he has helped start up companies in the health and fitness industry, and has served as the companies' general counsel and assistant director of operations.
Mr. Delonis has a robust real estate law practice, with 20+ years of experience in representing condominium associations and homeowner associations (HOAs). He also assists buyers and sellers of commercial properties and residential homes.
Additionally, in the entertainment field, he has negotiated and prepared television production agreements, and associated licensing and merchandising contracts.
Mr. Delonis is a member of the Business Law, Litigation, and Real Estate Law sections of the State Bar of Michigan. He is a member of the Commercial Litigation Committee and Nonprofit Corporations Committee of the Business Law section, and has been appointed to serve as an Advisor to the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee of the State Bar.
