Biography
I am a family law attorney practicing in the areas of divorce, child custody, parenting issues, separation, and support, both child support and spousal support. I am also regularly retained, by former clients and new clients, to handle a miriad of post-judgment issues that do regularly arise. The connection that I make with my client is very important to me.
In addition to practicing law as an attorney and counselor, I am also a State approved mediator and specially trained in the collaborative divorce process as a collaborative divorce attorney. My philosophy is mediative, being able to resolve issues without involving a judge is important. However, when necessary I use my advocacy skills to litigate your case in court.
While I am devoted to my practice, I believe that a healthy balance in life is important. My family and community service involvment are extremely important to me. Among other activities, I have participated in the 3-day 60 Mile Walk for Breast Cancer twice; and I spin (check out Real Ryder Revolution), I am a regular yogi at various studios around town, and I do weight training.
