Biography
I am an attorney in Evansville, Indiana, where I focus my practice in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration, business transactions, and real estate.
I am a Board Certified Indiana Trust and Estate Lawyer, which literally makes me a certified probate nerd.
I also serve on the Board of Directors of the Evansville Estate and Financial Planning Council, and I am the former chair of the Evansville Bar Association’s Probate, Elder Law & Guardianship Section.
In addition to estate planning, a substantial portion of my practice is devoted to business and real estate transactions, including:
- Business purchases, sales and startups;
- Real estate purchases, sales and leases;
- Employment and non-compete agreements; and
- Business contracts and transactions.
What don’t I do? Well I don’t do criminal law (although I can help expunge that old DUI from you record if you want), and I don’t do divorces, personal injury, line dancing, big hair, or windows.

Incredible attorney
We own a small business and have used him for a few years now with some contract work. In specific, he has written contracts for in-house extended warranties and also lifetime repair guarantees.

Commercial Property Lease Negotiation
When renewing and negotiating my commercial lease, I consulted David Harris. Seven years ago, I had initially signed the lease without his advice. As he reviewed the lease, he identified approximately 10 potential problems. He is wonderful to work with and very professional.
