ATTORNEY CARL LAMB -- Carl is originally from Terre Haute, Indiana.  After serving our country in the United States Marines Corps, Carl moved to Bloomington, Indiana where he did his undergraduate studies, majoring in Political Science, History and Russian Language.  Carl graduated from IU in 1981.  Carl went to IU School of Law Indianapolis, where he graduated in 1984.  After serving 3 1/2 years with the Monroe County Attorney's Office, Carl moved into the private practice of law, where he has been for the past 30 plus years.  In total, as of 2019, Carl would have been practicing law for 35 years. 

Carl is very involved in both civil and criminal law.  He works closely with Indiana University students, both as a lawyer and in his non-profit organizations.  Carl is the original founder of Drop the Puck on Cancer and Collegiate Charities, which have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for non-profit organizations since 2011.  In 2018, Carl along with his wife, Angie, and two (2) IU students, created Hope for Hoosiers Foundation, which helps IU students, faculty, staff, alumni and members of the local Bloomington community in areas of cancer, sexual assualts and other areas of human needs.  

Carl has six (6) children, seven (7) grandchildren and has been with his wife, Angie, for over 30 years.  Carl, as a Veteran, is very much concerned with our Veterans and provides legal services to veterans at a discounted price.  All "initial consultations" are no cost, so if you have any legal need, please give our office a call today at or email Carl at

Great guy!
I contacted Carl Lamb to help me in court against my ex, my sons father. He worked with me on prices as I’m a single mom with health conditions. He spoke to me with respect and gave great guidance as to what we needed to do next. I had a friend recommend him and I completely understand why!

Great Attorneys that took my case when no one else would.
I went through a lengthy divorce approximately 20 years ago. Upon my retirement, I discovered my ex-husband and his lawyer did not follow the divorce decree concerning retirement distribution. In short, I would have been paying my ex-husband thousands more than what he was entitled to. I approached five lawyers, and was told by each that it was too late to amend a divorce decree that old. Carl Lamb and Matt Fox listened to my situation and explained that there was legal ground to amend. Matt Fox explained the legal grounds to pursue, alternate means to resolve and what to expect in each scenario. The issue is now resolved in my favor. Carl Lamb and Matt Fox know and practice the law. They are approachable and actually listen to the client. They also work in an efficient manner to resolve the issue keeping legal expenses down. My mistake is that I did not consult them earlier.

Incredibly knowledgeable and fair
Mr. Lamb took my consultation outside of business hours, which I think speaks volumes to his client commitment. Strong Family values
I never dreamed I would ever need a lawyer, but when I did Mr. Lamb was a blessing in disguise. I sent a request online to set up a consultation and very shortly not only had a response but was able to speak to Mr.Lamb. I thought my divorce case with children was going to be cut and dry. When things got very messy Carl walked me through every step. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was covered and the best interest of the children was always #1. Even after the case was over Mr. Lamb has continued to be available as needed and patiently answer all my questions. I would reccommend Carl Lamb for anyone needing legal advise or assistance.

Helped my college aged son with misdemeanor charge
Mr. Lamb spoke to me immediately when I called his office to discuss a misdemeanor situation my son had gotten himself into while attending IU. Mr. Lamb gave walked me through the scenarios he thought my son might be facing. He worked to obtain a pre-trial diversion agreement for my son and obtained the very best outcome possible for my son's situation. He was responsive, thorough and absolutely looking to make the very best of an unfortunate situation. I would highly recommend him for any legal issues that college students might find themselves facing.

Carl spent over an hour on the phone looking at my court documents and giving me all kinds of perspective and legal advice regarding my situation and asking questions so he could fully understand what my issues were. I was even more surprised when he said he would call me Sunday evening for a consultation. During our phone call, he gave me opportunity to ask all the questions I had. High Standards, Values, Respectable, A 'Bull' That Gets It Done!
I obtained MR. LAMB to represent me in a Dissolution of Marriage (w/Child) Case in 2010. My Case involved a really complex situation, a mountain of variables, in which Mr. LAMB took on without hesitation. His Professionalism, Family Values, and Bullnosed-attention-to-detail approach sorted through the mess with momentum and never let up til conclusion of my Case. I have much respect for Mr. Lamb's Military and Occupational background, that I knew was the right Attorney for the job. MR. LAMB far exceeded my high expectations, going above and beyond his call, to prove my case. The conclusive results were a lifesaver for my son and I in which I have endless admiration to-no-end for. Justice was served and crushed the mountain of variables brought on by false, spun narrative against me, and manipulation tactics aimed at the system at my expense from the Divorce Petitioner, the present ex-wife, and seen through them. Justice was served. Mr. LAMB has my utmost respect for taking on my case without hesitation and pressing, finishing us out on top!!! Today, My son and I are very grateful that Mr. Lamb intervened and got this contrary, potentially life devastating, catastrophic detrimental, act posing against us stopped in it's tracks!
