About Tod
Biography
I am both an Attorney at Law and a professor of English and Law. I handle a variety of cases, but focus heavily on personal injury and wrongful death. As a professor, I teach a variety of legal professionals and others seeking to take their English fluency to the next level.
During my legal career, I have helped thousands of clients. I was a member of the American Bar Association, the Arizona Bar Association, and the Arizona Association for Justice. It was my mission to provide the best possible representation to my clients, regardless of the size of the case. I bring that same passion I gave to my clients to my students.
Each of my clients who chose me as their lawyer had my personal commitment to provide the quality and caliber of representation they hoped for. At the end of their case, I wanted them to know they made the right choice and to have experienced what top-notch, skilled legal representation is like.
I have wanted to be an attorney since I was just 12 years old. For over thirty years, I have been working in either the Maricopa County court system, obtaining my education as an attorney, or practicing law. During that time, I graduated from Arizona State University, then received a Judicial Scholarship to attend Ohio Northern University Claude W. Pettit College of Law where I received my Juris Doctorate with Distinction in 1996. During law school, I was an Associate Editor with the Journal of Pharmacy and the Law, received 1st Place and "Best Oralist Award" at the 17th Annual Administrative Law Moot Court Competition, and published "Getting high with a little help from the Feds" 6 Oh N.J. Pharm I. Law (1996).
