Gratitude from a veteran's widow

I was referred to Andrew in 2012 after two failed attempts with the VA regarding my husband's death, age 56, in 1998. He was a USAF retiree Vietnam, physically and psychologically ill. So many years had passed. Andrew's knowledge of military law, his fortitude and the compassion he showed to me and... our case kept me going. He is a fighter and persevered. His appeals were outstanding and October 2017 the VA sent a favorable decision of 100% service related disability at time of death. I was also to receive DIC and SBP proportionately. I then needed Andrew's intervention between the VA and DFAS as both said the other was to pay retroactive benefits and DFAS said no to SBP. Thanks to Drew, the VA provides 100% DIC monthly benefits and paid the retroactive benefits. Due to Andrew's professional skills, knowledge, experience and a fine innate quality one doesn't always find in lawyers today, the favorable decision wouldn't have been achieved. I highly recommend Drew to veterans and their survivors.

TDIU Claim Representation

I was seeking representation for my va claims denial for increase percentage after having failed. Mr Rutz did get me a higher rating and is now representing me in trying to gain my TDIU rating. I can honestly say that Win, Lose or Draw he has always been available and I only have the utmost respect ...for how he really tries to help you win the awards the va doesn't think you deserve. I truly believe he is concerned and dedicated to his oath to help his clients get a fair shake from the va..no doubt about it..he is worthy.....the best....!!!!

VA Representative

I had my claim initially filed with county service officer and nothing happened. because of my age and health I could not wait forever. I contacted Mr, Rutz and he went from 8 pages of military records to a stack that exceeds one foot. I now collect disability compensation exceeding 100%+. It was...n't easy but he dug into the system and found what was needed. When I was in southeast "boots on the ground" was not part of the language. Military orders printed in Japan never indicated location I was assigned to. Much was done verbally with 90 day travel orders.

I was injured while in the military and tried to work with the VA but, had no luck, I went to the internet and found Mr Rutz. Mr Rutz explained to me what I needed to do to get started and what he needed from me. So I sent all of my paper work to him from the VA and sent it to him and he started on a...s soon as he received it, And with in a few months he had my va rating up and soon after that was done he had me at the rating I needed to be, Mr Rutz was very professional and kind at the same time every time I called, Mr Rutz in my mind is very professional and went above and be on to help me when I needed it, he is 2nd to none and your firm should very happy to have him, Thank you

Mr. Rutz, effective, caring and dedicated to the client!

Upon learning approximately two years ago that my service-connected disability was incurable and progressive, I applied to the VA for compensation. My claim was approved but I was dissatisfied with the level of disability assigned by the VA. To prepare myself for an appeal I did a lot of reading. ... I learned that there is an arcane language unique to the VA appeals process much of which acquired definition in Federal Court decisions. And I saw also that I would have to navigate the complex legal matrix in which VA appeals are argued. All this was possible and help from Veteran's Service Organizations exists in theory, but I do not think it is easy to find a representative, let alone one who is well-qualified. I decided I wanted professional help. I had heard of Bosley & Bratch and I contacted them. At Bosley & Bratch it was my good fortune to have Attorney Andrew R. Rutz review and agree to take my case. He expertly and quickly took over my appeal. Mr. Rutz advised me, as necessary, and responded to my inquiries and concerns fully and with empathly. Never did I feel that he did not have enough time for me. So effective was Mr. Rutz's representation that I received a favorable decision from the VA in five months. I recommend Bosley & Bratch highly to anyone appealing a VA decision. Based upon my own experience I would describe them as effective, caring and dedicated. I am especially grateful to Mr. Rutz who has my unqualified endorsement.
