Attorney Rex Lee Patterson is an experienced family law practitioner and civil litigator. Rex has over 11 years of experience practicing law in several areas of civil litigation, including: family law, divorce, adoption, guardianship, child custody, grandparent’s rights, personal injury, wrongful death, tort claims, estate litigation, will contests, real estate litigation, quiet title actions, business litigation, bankruptcy, collections, small claims, and other areas of civil practice. Rex also handles select criminal cases. Rex practices all over Northeast Indiana, including but not limited Adams County, Allen County, Wells Count, LaGrange County, Steuben County, Elkhart County, Noble County, Whitley County, DeKalb County, and Huntington County.
Rex recently received his Certified Family Law Specialist designation from the Family Law Certification Board. This was a significant accomplishment as there are only approximately 70 attorneys in the state of Indiana with this designation. Rex has won hundreds of family law trials. Rex believes his profession is a calling.
Rex grew up in Adams County, Indiana and graduated from Bellmont High School. His first job out of law school was at a law firm in LaGrange, Indiana. He worked there as an Associate for 3.5 years before establishing his own law firm, Patterson Law LLC in 2012. Patterson Law LLC originated in Noble County and thrived there for 7 years, before recently relocating to the north side of Fort Wayne, Indiana at our current address.
Rex is married and has 4 children who attend Northwest Allen County Schools. He and his family attend Pathway Community Church and his faith guides his law practice.
