As a partner in the firm, I focus my practice on appeals, although that often includes becoming involved with litigation at the trial court level.  I have handled more than 350 appeals at the state and federal levels and am an adjunct assistant professor of law at the University of Notre Dame law school where I work with the Appellate moot court board.

 

My wife and I have four children, including two medical mission children from the Philippines.  I am an avid Notre Dame sports fan.

Excellent
Bob has gone above and beyond in the representation he has provided. He is not only extremely knowledgeable of the processes and laws, but he is caring and passionate about the cases he represents as well as the client. Bob supported me by constantly keeping me informed, helping me to understand each step in the suit, and always being caring and professional in his reassurance in an area that can be very frightening. Excellent lawyer and great guy too!
Bob took on our case and filed an appeal for a custody judgement because he believed in our case and us. He is extremely qualified and knowledgeable in the law. Bob took the time to get to know us and our situation it made us feel good to know that he really cares about us and our family. Many, many times Bob took the time to listen patiently whether it was during a meeting, phone call, or before or after court to our worries, possible scenarios, and frustrations. Most busy lawyers like Bob wouldn't take the time to do that! Our appeal ending up getting denied and together with Bob's advice we decided to file with the Supreme Court where our case was overturned. Thanks to Bob our family is now back together and we are very grateful for his services. Throughout this whole process, Bob handled himself professionally and effectively. He took the extra time to research other cases to cite in our pleas. He never failed to communicate with us any updates in our case. Bob is a fantastic lawyer, a great person and family man and we highly recommend him.
