When you're dealing with the emotional ups and downs of an adoption, the last thing you want to have to worry about is all the legalese involved. Nate was everything we wanted and needed in an adoption attorney: timely, personable, responsive, professional, and to-the-point. He made things as simple ...and streamlined as possible. He corresponded directly with social workers and out-of-state attorneys when necessary and made the legal side of our son's adoption quick and painless. I value the direct access Nate provided. When I needed to get in touch, it was always him answering my call or responding to my email. For some reason, in my mind I expected there to be an assistant or a layer in between, or that I would have to leave a message and wait a couple days for a response, but that couldn't be further from my experience. Nate was a true partner and advocate for our family. He really knows his stuff. He is easy to talk to, does a great job of explaining things simply and clearly, and we are so thankful he guided us on this journey. I highly recommend Nate and the team at Herrin & Leach.
