I can't say enough about how much we appreciate having had Nate in our corner for our adoption. Ours was a long, drawn out, contested kinship adoption, and Nate was compassionate, responsive, direct, and provided sound advice and guidance throughout the entire process. Even when it wasn't the news I ...was hoping to hear, he did a great job of helping me understand what to expect, and how we were going to navigate the hurdles. I think it's natural for well-wishing friends and family members to tell you to "think positive" or say "it's all going to work out in the end," but the reality is, even when you do all the right things, it may not end how you want. I'm happy to say our adoption was ultimately approved, but Nate never sugar-coated anything about the challenges with our particular case. He gave us hope, but also painted a clear picture of what we were in for, what all the legalese meant, and made sound recommendations that ultimately led us to a successful outcome. I value the direct access Nate provided. When I needed to get in touch, it was always him answering my call or responding to my email. For some reason, in my mind I expected there to be an assistant or a layer in between, or that I would have to leave a message and wait a couple days for a response, but that couldn't be further from my experience. Nate was a true partner and advocate for our family. He really knows his stuff. He is easy to talk to, does a great job of explaining things simply and clearly, and we are so thankful he guided us on this journey. I highly recommend Nate and the team at Herrin & Leach.

We were referred to Nate Leach through our adoption agency. Nate was with us early on in our adoption process answering initial questions, and he eventually helped us navigate both a fall through and a match that lead to finalization. He obviously knew what he was doing while we didn't, that wasn't ...a question. But what really mattered was that in those highly emotional situations, Nate had compassion and was able to navigate being honoring and supportive of all members of the triad. He also did the leg work to keep the process running smoothly as we navigated interstate matches. We felt like he cared about our specific journey, and are very grateful to have had him represent us through to finalization.
